Online Authentic Movement Group

These are times that we are learning a new way of being. Instead of traveling to a goal out there, now is time to travel deeper into yourself and spend more time, experiencing yourself in the whole and your place in it. 

As a tool for well-being, Authentic Movement can help you:

- develop mindfulness - in motion and stillness, 

- explore creative/ artistic impulses 

- gain self-understanding 

- release stress through body movement, 

- increase empathy and compassion for self and others

- reconnect with the wisdom of your body and with your spirituality  

In this online group, we begin with a rediscovery of your physical self through a series of semi-guided, warmup explorations.  We then progress to creating a space where you are free. Free to listen to your body, free to follow the guidance of your soul. In this space there are no rules, except those that you create; there is no obligation, except to yourself.  

To prepare for the experience:

- make sure you can have a space where you can have some privacy and ask from others who live with you to not be interrupted during the experience

- clear out or open up the room from furniture so that you have some more space around you to move freely

- have ready as much as you can of art/writing materials that you can use for the integration process after the movement exploration
